Have you chosen the right mask for haze?

N95 Certification

N95 is an officially certified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) after it has passed the fit-test results on a human face.

The test is conducted by a person wearing the mask for about 15 minutes and moving around in many positions with the mask attached to special machines that record the concentration inside and outside the mask. If the air inside the mask is more than 95% reduced in particles, that mask passes the N95 test.

Does it help?

Without a mask, you are fully exposed to air pollutants; flu or cough viruses, dusts, pollen, allergens and fur. The N95 mask will help to filter particulate matters smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5) medically proven to cause major inflammatory damage that leads to heart disease, lung disease and cancers.

Remember to look out for the N95 certification when you are purchasing a mask for haze.
